Your mood board pics are fantastic! So inspirational! I really love reading about what inspires people's creativity. And your info graphic post yesterday is hilarious! Go for it, Cat! Very happy to have discovered your blog. Elizabeth x
Hope you don't mind but I have just been singing your praises on my blog and have used a couple of your photos as inspiration. I have linked back to you.
I had used the picture of the yarn on the top row before I saw your post today, so just to let you know I love that colour combo x
Beautiful! Those are EXACTLY the colours I'm aiming to use more off. Mood boards are a great idea. I haven't tried natural dyes yet - but I really want to ... have a bunch of books to inspire/teach me how ... just a matter of time.
I have just started playing with dyes last week and knows little about it but grabbed the water when I soaked black beans for a roasted sweet potato and black bean dish and the water stained my hands blue. Only when I started reading up on it did I realise that people often colour with the beans!
Season most definitely and also where one lives. I hooked in more vibrant colours when living in the tropics and guess had I hooked in the Middle East whilst living there I would have used the spicy spectrum.
Beautiful colors and great pics for inspiration. Have a nice crochet day!
ReplyDeleteThank you - just love the music on your blog!
